RIP Hamster
22 Aug 2010 (bought date) - 26 Oct 2010 (10:16pm)

Hamster died peacefully in my hands,
after weeks of battling with diarrhoea and illness.

i thought he would get better after seeing the vet and receiving medication,
but things changed for the worst.

i was still telling the vet that he looked better and alert as compared to last thursday.
i was wrong.

i came home today, only to find him hunching at the same position i left him in the morning.
and he was all limp and lifeless when i picked him up.

i tried my best.
i gave him critical care formula + electrolytes.
i gave him warm bottle to keep him warm.
i gave him massage to keep his circulation going.
i gave him everything i could.

but still, he gasped his last breath and died.

i'm sad. can't describe how i'm feeling right now.

but on the other hand,
i'm glad that he was relieved from his illness, his sufferings.
no more pain and discomfort.

hope he lives well in his afterlife.
