ALOHA!
i'm back from hongkong!
with 600photos from both my cameras. :)))
didnt really do much shopping, as there's really not much for me to buy. or shd i say, the items we saw at the street markets were not really for us. haha so i spent most of the time taking pictures, reading the map, taking the MTR and walking around the city.
day 1, 13th oct 2008.
4.30am: left home for the airport.
5.00am: arrived at Changi Airport Terminal 1, checked-in, and went for breakfast with my parents.
5.45am: BYE to my parents and went to the boarding gate.
6.15am: on the plane, Jetstar 3k691.
6.40am: BYE SINGAPORE.
6.50am - 7.15am: take pictures and lots of pictures.zz..zzzz...zzzzzz....10.10am: HELLO HONGKONG!10.20am: got off the plane, hopped on the airport's shuttle bus and to the arrival hall.
11.30am: arrived at Royal View Hotel, unpacked, and prepare to set off!
12.00pm - 9.00pm: went Sham Shui Po 深水埗, Yau Ma Tei 油麻地 -Temple Street 庙街, Jordan 佐敦, Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀, The Avenue of Stars 星光大道, The Waterfront Promenade. basically, we have walked the whole of Kowloon 九龙. SHOPPING!!!!
10.00pm: back to hotel, unpacked, charge my cameras, bathe and watch tv.12.00am: LIGHTS OFF zzzzz.day 2, 14th oct 2008.7.30am: rise and shine.8.30am: off for the half day tour.9.00am - 3.00pm: went The Waterfront Promenade (yes again), TSL Jewellery Outlet, Factory Outlet, Lantau Island 大屿山, Ngong Ping 昂 坪 360 Cable Car , Po Lin Monastery 宝莲禪寺, The Giant Buddha 天壇大佛.
3.00pm: missed our tour bus, took MTR back to our hotel and wait for the night tour.4.15pm: off for the night tour.4.30pm - 10.00pm: went The Peak Tram 山顶缆车, The Victoria Peak 太平山顶, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong Museum, Mong Kok 旺角 - Ladies' Market 女人街.
10.45pm: back to hotel.1.00am: SLEEP.day 3, 15th oct 2008.7.30am: supposed to wake up, but we were too tired.8.30am: snoozed the alarm.9.30am: snoozed again.10.30am: RISE AND SHINE, finally.12.00pm: off to Hong Kong Disneyland 香港迪士尼乐园!
1.00pm - 7.00pm: immersed ourselves in classic Disney attractions and the magic of four themed lands (Main Street USA, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland).
7.30pm: BYE Disneyland and off to The Central 中环.8.00pm: LOST OUR WAY while trying to find the factory outlets. GAVE UP and head for dinner.8.15pm: had dinner at Cafe de Coral 大家乐.8.45pm - 10.00pm: shopping!!!! and visit Hong Kong's nightlife Lan Kwai Fong 兰桂坊.
10.30pm: back to hotel.12.00am: LIGHTS OUT.day 4, 16th oct 2008.8.00am: rise and shine.9.15am: checked-out.9.45am: took the hotel's shuttle bus and off to Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀.10.30am: had our tim sum breakfast at Mu Dan Ting Chinese Restaurant 牡丹厅.11.30am: off to MTR station for Causeway Bay 铜锣湾.12.00pm - 3.00pm: went Causeway Bay 铜锣湾, Wan Chai 湾仔 and visited all the factory outlets that we could find! baby bought more stuffs this time round. we spent the most on the 4th day. went back to Temple Street 庙街 to get my adidas jacket which i failed to get it on the 1st day.4.00pm: back to Tsuen Wan 荃湾, and had our lunch at one of the local noodle stalls.4.40pm: hopped onto our hotel's shuttle bus and back to the hotel.5.15pm: BYE Royal View Hotel and off to the Hong Kong International Airport.6.15pm: checked-in.
6.30pm - 7.15pm: hopped on the airport trolley, and baby pushed me around. bought Husband&Wife biscuits for my parents.7.30pm: took the airport's light rail to our boarding gate.7.45pm: got interviewed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board personnel, and got myself a souvenir!8.15pm: on the plane, Jetstar 3K696 and realised that my Husband&Wife biscuits were missing!! thanks to baby, he was holding it. -_-8.30pm: BYE HONGKONG!9.00pm: had our dinner on the plane, i had Nissin tom yum cup noodles for SG$5 while baby had his chicken rice for SG$12. 9.30pm: i...... fell asleep.. zzzzzzzz.zz..zzzz... zzzzzz....11.50pm: HELLO SINGAPORE.12.15am: arrived at the departure hall, shopped window-shopped around DFS.12.30am: WAVE FRANTICALLY at my parents.12.45am: home sweet home. :)ok, i think i spent 4hours in composing this entry. HAHA.it's 1.08am now.
