so what is this video all about? the story goes like this.
i created this video specially for her. to reminiscence the memories we both shared, how we met, how we overcome barriers and how we are today. amazingly, we didnt even quarrel for once. just a bit of pissing each other off perhaps. but that's normal right! haha. i kept it from her, hoping to create a surprise for her.
i stayed up, edited, photoshopped and made this video after my exams and before i'm off for polyforum. i managed to complete it on time and realised that there's a mail about Best Buddy Award that was forwarded from my CP.
that was on 02sept. the closing date was on 04sept.
i read the email, and realised that the prize ceremony was on 12sept. i panicked, i was worried that i would not be able to attend the prize ceremony cos i would be in KL! argh, so i emailed the person-in charge before i submit the video, asking if i could ask someone to collect the prize on my behalf if i win. (this is so LOL, i emailed as if i have won. BUT, i had the confidence that i will win =D) so, the person-in charge replied and said i could. yipppee! not to waste any more time, i uploaded the video to youtube, and submitted my entry to the web on the last day of submission. =D
voting was from 04sept to 08sept.
from the date i submitted the video to the closing date, i only have 4 days to gather as many votes as possible! i was really behind votes. others had already uploaded their videos weeks or months before me, and had already 100votes and counting. me? stuck at 0. =(
the next few days, i gathered votes, asking friends to vote, asking friends to ask their friends to vote. i talked to friends that i didnt talk to in years, and kindly asked them to vote. during that few days, i've exhausted my whole list of msn, emails and facebook. i asked anyone that i know, even those i just knew from polyforum on the first day. haha.
it was 08sept. at 11pm, we panicked. the site was down, and i was behind the 3rd placing by at least 20votes. i didnt give up. neither did sou. we mass messaged everyone on msn, spamming them and asking them to ask their friends to vote. jeremy and zsa helped too. and then it was 12am. WOOT! i won the 3rd prize! by 6 votes! =D i was really happy that night. nothing could describe how i felt. i'm glad that i have friends that lent a helping hand. i really do appreciate it. THANKS a million. =D
